NextUp (formerly CAFYES) is a program intended to provide additional academic and personal support to current and former foster youth. NextUp can provide the following services:
- Academic and Personal Counseling
- Child Care Support
- Food and Housing Assistance
- Transportation Assistance
- Financial Support
Are You Eligible for NextUp?
In order to receive services from the NextUp program, students must:
- Have entered the Child Care/Foster System on or after their 13th birthday
- Be under the age of 26 at the time of receiving services
- Be enrolled in, or working towards enrolling in 9 units
