Students enrolling at Mendocino College are assigned fees according to their residency status and enrollment type. Residency is determined at the time a student applies for admission. Enrollment, College, and Other fees are subject to change during the academic year.

FEES FOR DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENTS
Per Administrative Procedure (AP) 5030.1, concurrently enrolled 9-12th grade students (dual enrollment), enrolled in 11.0 units or less, are exempt from paying the enrollment fee. Effective Spring 2024, semester fees (student representation fee, student center fee, and health fee) are also waived.
REFUNDS
Tuition and Enrollment Fees are refunded for full-semester length classes dropped by the Friday of the end of the second week of the Fall or Spring Semester. Refund deadlines for summer classes vary by class length. College Fees are not refunded after the semester begins.

ENROLLMENT FEE ASSISTANCE
Students may use their financial aid awards to help pay for the costs of attending Mendocino College and students are strongly encouraged to apply for Financial Aid.
Eligibility criteria vary depending on the type of award.

*Education Code section 68075.6 grants an immediate nonresident tuition fee exemption to eligible Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders and refugee students who settled in California upon entering the United States. This exemption is granted for one year from the date of the student settled in California upon entering the United States.
This exemption applies to the following:
Iraqi citizens or nationals (and their spouses and children) who were employed by or on behalf of the United States Government in Iraq (Pub.L.No. 110-181, Section 1244)
Afghan and Iraqi translators (and their spouses and children) who worked directly with the United States Armed Forces (Pub.L.No. 109-163, Section 1059)
Afghanistan nationals who were employed by or on behalf of the U.S. government or in the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan (Pub.L.No. 111-8, Section 602)
Refugee students admitted to the United States under Section 1157 of Title 8 of the United States Code
**A student may request a waiver of the Health Fee if that student depends exclusively upon prayer for healing in accordance with the teachings of a bona fide religious sect, denomination, or organization. Please contact the Office of Admissions and Records for more information.
***A student may refuse to pay the Student Representation Fee if the student submits a completed refusal form. Forms can be submitted via email or in person to the Admissions & Records Office on the Ukiah Campus or to the Lake Center, Coast Center, or North County Center.
