This hands-on workshop taught by a drone industry professional prepares students for the FAA part 107 Commercial Remote Pilot Exam, develops flying skills, and teaches the safe integration of drone technology into business operations. Classroom instruction and hands-on flight of a commercial-grade drone.

Lorenzo Rota is the owner of Volare Aerial, a Ukiah-based drone services company operating since 2017. He has been FAA-certified as a commercial drone pilot since 2017. He is also certified as an Unmanned Pest Control Aircraft Agricultural Pilot. He has worked on large-scale drone projects for electric utilities and government agencies.
