Alyssum Wier is an artist, educator, and arts administrator. She holds a B.A. from Kenyon College and an M.A. from Columbia University. She is the executive director of the Arts Council of Mendocino County, a member of the Leadership Mendocino Steering Committee, a jewelry artist, writer, and since January 2013 has been a part-time instructor in the Art Department at Mendocino College. Alyssum was raised in Mendocino County and attended schools (high school through graduate school) in the Midwest, New York City, Switzerland, and England.
