Help Fund Emergency Support at Mendocino College: Your gift will go to support Mendocino College students and staff affected by the devastating fires in Lake & Mendocino counties.

FEMA Local Assistance Center (note: no longer offered at Mendocino College)

The LAC provides a single facility where those impacted by the fire can access available disaster assistance programs and services.  This multi-agency facility will include representatives from local, state, and federal agencies, non-profit agencies, counseling services, and other support services.

Location: 1375 N. State Street, Ukiah (the storefront left of Raley's)

Hours of Operation: Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 7 pm

Textbooks & School Supplies: We are continuing to work with the library and bookstore to make textbooks and other supplies available that may have been lost in the fires. Please contact Adan Chaidez directly to discuss the textbooks/supplies you lost during the fires. He can be reached at or 707.468.3119.

Food Pantry: Non-perishable food items are free of charge to any current student. Items are available at the Ukiah Campus (Student Center) and the North County Center (Willits). Available from 8 am – 5 pm.

Food Voucher: A limited number of food vouchers are available to students with an address in the areas impacted by the fires in our region (Potter Valley, Redwood Valley, Clearlake Oaks, Clearlake, and Geyserville). Identification must be presented when claiming the food voucher. Food vouchers may be used for the purchase of any food items at select grocery stores. Food vouchers are available at the Ukiah Campus (MacMillan Hall – Counseling Office) or at the North County Center (Willits). Available from 9 am – 5 pm.

Emergency Funds: Mendocino College faculty, staff and community members have made emergency funds available to students impacted by the evacuations. Please contact Vice President Ulises Velasco directly to discuss ways in which Mendocino College can help. He can be reached at or 707.467.1037.

Information Table: We have a table in front of Admissions & Records (Ukiah Campus - MacMillan Hall) providing students with information about available services. More information can be found in the Counseling Office, Room 1000.
