Bob Merritt has been a practicing Physical Therapist for 43 years, 33 years of it here in Ukiah. He graduated from Loma Linda University with a BS in physical therapy, serving there as Staff Physical Therapist, Senior Therapist in Orthopedics, Assistant Director of Physical Therapy, and PT faculty from 1978-1986.

Bob currently serves as Assistant Director of Physical Therapy at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley. Having spent 43 years with a case load of trauma, sports and work-related injuries and general orthopedics, Bob is excited to be returning to the classroom and working with the PTA program in helping students develop and polish their treatment skills in these areas.  

When not at work or school, you will find Bob with his friends and PT staff at the hospital OP department and health club PT office, and with his wife Debbie pursuing church and social activities locally. Bob can be reached at rmerritt@mendocino.edu
