Ignacio Gonzalez, or as many people know him as Nash Gonzalez has been teaching real estate courses here at Mendocino Community College since the Fall of 1989, and has been the Real Estate Program Coordinator since 1992. Mr. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Studies and Planning from Sonoma State University and is a nationally certified land use planner, and has been a land use planner for over 35 years. He also holds a California Real Estate Broker’s license and in addition to teaching for Mendocino College, he has also taught for Anthony’s Schools of Real Estate, College of the Redwoods and is an instructor for the California Association of Realtors, where for the last 20 years has taught courses in the area of environmental concerns, construction and land use in the Graduate Realtor’s Institute (GRI), the highest designation a realtor can achieve in the United States. Many of his students have gone on to be successful real estate professionals both locally and throughout California, and several of his students have even been featured on the television series “House Hunters” on the HGTV network as sales agents.
