Alicia Bales (Narrative Theatre) earned an MA in Voice and Speech Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, and a BA in Theatre and Performance from UC Berkeley. She is also holds an AA in Theatre Arts from Mendocino College. She has taught in London and the Bay Area, and also works as a voice, text and dialect coach with theatre companies around Northern California. Recent voice teaching credits include the MA devised theatre course final production Nine Days They Fell at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, An Ideal Husband at UC Berkeley, The Habit of Art with Theatre Rhinoceros, and The Merry Wives at Big Idea Theatre, and Arcadia and A Midsummer Night's Dream at Mendocino College. She is the Program Director at KZYX&Z public radio.
