Work Experience Education (WEE) is an educational and occupational approach that turns work-based learning experiences into college credit.

Work Experience Education (WEE) is a simultaneous educational and occupational approach that turns work-based learning experiences into college credit. Students meet their instructor and supervisor to maximize learning that occurs on the job. This is an Open-Enrollment course. You can earn up to 14 units in one semester. Units apply to Certificates, Discipline and Degree-Based pathways of study, and are CSU transferable.

 

CWEE Programs
  1. General Work Experience & Occupational Work Experience

General Work Experience: Not associated with any Certificate or Degree/Discipline-Based educational pathway of study.

1.0 Units - 6.0 Units per semester; Total of 12 Units in a year. 

Occupational Work Experience: Certificate and/or Degree/Discipline-Based educational pathway of study. 

1.0 - 8.0 Units per semester; Total of 16 Units in a year.
