Obtaining a Mendocino College ID

Did you know you can ride MTA for free if you have a Mendocino College student ID?

To get your Mendocino College ID, you need to be enrolled for the Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 by visiting the Library during the New Student Welcome with your Summer or Fall schedule. Friendly staff will take your picture and issue you your college ID. Be prepared to show them a copy of your schedule and provide your student ID number. You can also get your college ID in the Counseling Office (MacMillan Hall) or the Library (2nd Floor), Monday thru Friday 9am – 5pm.

Student Support Services Departments will be open Saturday, Aug. 13th 9am – 5pm, and will be open Monday thru Friday 9am – 6pm the first 2 weeks of classes! Regular hours are 9am – 5pm.

Do you need to complete the Placement Tool?

You can complete the Placement Tool in the Learning Center (located in the Library/Learning Center Building), Lower Level, Room 4110; Call for hours of operation 707.468.3046; You may view the Placement Tool here: www.mendocino.edu/mathandenglish

Do you need to sign up for Fall classes?

If you have already met with a counselor and have your yellow add card and have completed the Promise Grant (formerly BOG Waiver) application OR a FAFSA, go to Admission and Records (MacMillan Hall) to register. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

Not sure if you have completed the Promise Grant application or the FAFSA?

Assistance will be available during New Student Welcome at the Resource Fair otherwise you can ask for support at the Financial Aid Office in MacMillan Hall. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 9am – 5pm.

If you have not met with a counselor…

CAMP Students: Jose Hernandez, CAMP Counselor, will be available Tuesday thru Friday; 9am – 5pm, call for an appointment 707-467-1026.

EOPS Students: Emily Hashemian, EOPS Counselor, call for an appointment 707-468-3115 and 707-468-3113

Do you need to schedule an appointment with a counselor? Call for an appointment 707-468-3048, visit www.mendocino.edu/counseling or stop by MacMillan Hall Room 1200, Monday thru Friday 9am- 5pm for assistance.

Note: The Equity counselor, CAMP counselor and EOPS counselors will be available for appointments throughout the rest of the summer.
