Rising Scholars Program

Formerly Incarcerated and Justice Involved Students

Rising scholars at Mendocino College provides resources to students who are currently incarcerated and those who have experienced incarceration in the past. Students who have experienced the criminal justice system often face significant barriers to academic and career success. Mendocino College welcomes all students who are interested in attending college for the first time, returning to college, or continuing their education. Students are supported in making decisions about their educational goals, exploring options, utilize resources and feel fully engaged as a leader in the Mendocino College educational community.
