Mendocino College has partnered with BankMobile to deliver your financial aid disbursement. This partnership will give students the following options for receiving financial aid funds:
- Electronic Deposit To A Bank Account - Money is transferred to a bank account account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1 - 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
- Electronic Deposit To A BankMobile Vibe Account - If you open a BankMobile Vibe account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school. For more information on the BankMobile Vibe Account, visit: https://bankmobilevibe.com/.
- Paper Check Delivered By USPS - A check is mailed the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school, provided receipt is within daily cutoff times. Typically, it takes 5 – 7 business days for the check to arrive, depending on USPS First-Class® delivery timeframes.
Making a Disbursement Selection
In order to make a disbursement selection, students must log in to www.refundselection.com to enter your Personal Code. Codes will be mailed to you by BankMobile in a bright green envelope and send to your Mendocino College Student Email Account. If you misplace your personal code, you can request a new one by selecting "Need a Code?" in www.refundselection.com and entering Mendocino College in the "School Name" field and your Mendocino College Student Email Account in the "Email Address" field. If you have issues requesting a personal code, contact the financial aid office. Once Mendocino College makes a disbursement, BankMobile will send you an email notification. If you have not made a disbursement selection, BankMobile will send you a paper check after 14 days of attempting to reach you.
