HiSET Test Administrator – Ukiah Campus
Part-Time Temporary Assignment 60 hours per month


RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direction of the High School Equivalency (HEP) Director
• Administer six HiSET tests/month at three Mendocino College Locations: Ukiah, Lakeport
   and Ft. Bragg
• Complete all responsibilities for Test Administrators laid out in the HiSET program manual
• Attend required on-going training

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in administering standardized tests; have the ability to complete forms and to read directions clearly to test takers; possess unquestionable integrity and be able to handle groups of test takers in an effective, efficient and friendly manner; be alert to detect instances of improper conduct or theft of test materials; not be involved in high school equivalency instruction; be at least 18 years of age.

Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish

Knowledge of:
Testing administration. (Training on administration of HiSET testing is necessary prior to first test)

Ability to:
Work effectively and cooperatively with the public, students, faculty, and staff; work a flexible schedule; keep records organized and updated.

Licenses:
Must possess a valid California driver’s license.

ASSIGNMENT/SALARY: The work schedule will be determined by the HEP Director. Pay Rate is $18.00 per hour. Mileage is reimbursed for travel to the testing sites.
