OVERTIME is paid for temporary, short-term, hourly employees authorized to work over 8 hours in a day (or 40 in a week) when the general work week for staff is five 8 hour days per week, but not 10. Employees need prior authorization to work overtime.
STUDENT EMPLOYEES: District & Federal work-study students must be actively enrolled in at least 6 units at MC (3 units Summer). EOPS work-study students must be actively enrolled in at least 9 units. Students who drop below units required or withdraw from MC are immediately ineligible for student employment.
Student Employees: 1st sem. - $11.00/hr; 2nd sem. - $11.50/hr; 3rd sem. and after - $12.00/hr
Student Tutors/Ambassadors:  1st sem. - $11.50/hr; 2nd sem. - $12.00/hr; 3rd sem. & after - $12.50/hr
