How to Become a Mendocino College Student in Seven Easy Steps
Student Photo   STEP 1: APPLICATION
The application for admissino may be submitted online through: CCCAPPLY.ORG or a paper application may be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Records on the Ukiah Campus, Lakeport Center or North County Center.

WebAdvisor is your online access for viewing your student educational plan (SEP), registering for classes and viewing class offerings, viewing financial aid information, accessing grades and transcripts, viewing and printing your class schedule and much more. Your WebAdvisor account will be created and accessible within 48 hours of the submission of the application for admission.

STEP 2: APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID
Apply online for federal financial aid at https://fafsa.gov. Check WebAdvisor periodically to check the status of your financial aid application and contact the Financial Aid Office directly regarding any questions you may have regarding eligibility for aid and the approval process.

STEP 3 : COMPLETE ORIENTATION 
Orientation is required for all new students and eases your transition to Mendocino College and provides you with information on college programs, services, policies and procedures. Students may complete orientation online or in person. For more information please contact the Counseling Department. 

STEP 4: TAKE PLACEMENT TEST & SUBMIT TRANSCRIPTS
Placement results help you and your counselor determine which classes are most appropriate. You may be exempt from this requirement if you have completed a placement test within the previous three years at another college, successfully completed math or English coursework at an accredited college or university, received an Associate degree or higher or completed certain exams or coursework in high school. Contact the Office of Admissions and Records for more information. 

Submit all high school and college transcripts for all schools you have attended to the Office of Admissions and Records. These transcripts will be used to determine prerequiste eligibility and support placement exemption requests.

STEP 5: MEET WITH A COUNSELOR
A counselor will review your academic and career goals, majors, transfer requirements and review placement scores or transcripts to ensure enrollment in appropriate classes. A counselor will also assist you in scheduling classes and in the deveopment of a student educational plan (SEP). A variety of specialized services are available. Please contact the Counseling Office for additional information.

STEP 6: REGISTER FOR CLASSES & PAY FEES
Registration and payment of fees can be completed online through WebAdvisor or in person at the Ukiah Campus, Lakeport Center or North County Center. Please visit "Registration and Application Information" for available registration services days and times. Fees are due at the time of registration.
