Author Doris Eraldi to Read at Mendocino College
The Friends of the Mendocino College Library are sponsoring a reading by novelist Doris Eraldi, author of Settler’s Chase. The novel is Eraldi’s second Western Historical novel, which was published by Berkeley Books in the summer, and it is a sequel to her first, Settler’s Law. Born and raised in Northern California, Doris Eraldi is a horsewoman, web designer and author. She currently edits and writes for two monthly online magazines, working from her home in Potter Valley, California, where she lives on a small ranch with her partner, seven horses, and two dogs.
Earldi’s reading is free to the public and will take place in Room 5310 in the Center for Visual & Performing Arts on the Ukiah campus at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 21. The campus is located at 1000 Hensley Creek Rd. in Ukiah. Admission for this event is free and Mendocino Book Company will be on hand to sell copies of the book. Eraldi will do a book signing immediately following the reading.
Friends of the Mendocino College Library is an affiliate group of the Mendocino College Foundation. The group sponsors readings throughout the academic year with the next reading taking place in November and additional readings starting in the spring semester in February. For more information about these events, check www.mendocino.edu or contact the college library at 468-3051.
