Mendocino College participates in Guaranteed Admission Programs with several UC campuses. These agreements guarantee your admission to the four-year school upon completion of all agreed upon requirements. Students are only allowed ONE TAG!
To participate in the program, Mendocino College students must meet with their counselor during the summer or at the beginning of the fall semester to complete the program application. The application and copies of transcripts are then sent to the receiving institution for review and approval. Upon approval, the student is guaranteed admission to the four-year school once they complete all the requirements agreed upon with the receiving school.
Students simply complete the admission application during the appropriate application period. The deadline for applying for guaranteed admission programs varies from school to school. The application period for Fall enrollment to a UC campus is September 1-30.
UC Merced is the only campus that allows transfer for Spring and their application period is May 1-31. UC TAG information, click here
