UPDATES

June 2012 - A planning visitation and initial meeting with architects has taken place. Programming for the Nursing project has begun, and the design phase will continue during the Fall semester.

December 2011 - Basic planning for the Allied Health projects has begun, with the identification of three programs to be included in the project planning. Those projects are for Nursing, Emergency Medical Technician, and Paramedic programs. The existing East Campus grove facilities will be renovated to meet the needs of these programs.

July 2009 - Virginia Guleff will continue meetings with Nursing program staff. This project will be addressed further upon completion of the Educational Master Plan.

September 5, 2007 - The next Advisory Council Meeting is scheduled for September 5, 2007.

August 2007 - The Committee met with Kitchell on 8/8/07 and presented an outline of the proposed facility program and space requirements. The group also discussed possible locations for the facility and determined that since most nursing students come from Ukiah, this should be the location of the center. BIP committee members discussed where the site should be and presented an option to renovate an existing building on-site.
