This course examines aspects of professional growth and competence, the
risk of burn-out in helping professions, and the maintenance of a healthy
relationship to work. Early warning signs and techniques for avoiding
stress, co-dependency patterns in the work environment, and avoiding
burn-out will be emphasized. Strategies for personal and professional
growth will be examined through self-examination in a group process.
