This course will provide a comprehensive study of Hazardous Materials and
emergency response to Haz Mat incidents. Topics will include basic Haz Mat
chemistry, regulation, toxicology, tactics and strategy of mitigation,
decontamination, and scene management. This is a required course for an
Associate Degree in Fire Science.
