A foundation for all subsequent art courses. Application and
appreciation of the principles and elements of design including: line,
value, shape, texture, space, color and organization of pictorial space.
Includes the development of an appreciation for the integrity of both
emotional and intellectual responses to western and non-western works
on human imagination.
