Articulation

Welcome to Mendocino College Articulation!

Articulation agreements are formal agreements between two campuses. They define how courses taken at one college or university campus may be used to satisfy a subject matter requirement at another college or university campus. Most articulation is designed to allow students to complete lower division major preparation at a community college and know that their coursework will be accepted by the major department at a chosen university.

There are a number of articulation agreements available to Mendocino College students for both public and private schools.  These articulation agreements are routinely updated and listed on our website.

Please “do your homework” and talk to the school you wish to transfer to and make certain that you are a competitive applicant. Articulation agreements typically list what will transfer, but they are not meant to be minimums for admissions. Students may get in with less than what is on the agreement, or not be admitted with all the work completed if applying to a competitive program.

Articulation allows you to begin your educational journey at Mendocino College and know that your coursework will transfer to your next institution. Should you have any questions along the way, please see a counselor, they are trained to help guide you through the process and direct you to the correct answers to the questions that you might have.

Have a great journey,

Kurt Combs, Articulation Officer
